The web application is delivered through a cloud hosting provider. The hosting infrastructure processes technical connection data required to deliver the service.

When you create an account we process your first and last name, email address, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash) and your organization name. This data is required to create your organization and give you access to the application.

Authentication, database and file storage are operated on Supabase infrastructure on our behalf as a processor. Account data, media files and configuration data are stored there.

Sign-in uses email and password, and optionally sign-in with Google. When you sign in with Google, your email address and name are transmitted to us by Google for the purpose of creating or matching your account. Session tokens are stored in your browser so you stay signed in.

Your organization's content — screens, screen groups, playlists, media files, schedules, locations and team members — is stored in the application database and file storage. Access is restricted to your own organization by row-level security rules.

Our infrastructure automatically records technical log data such as IP address, date and time of the request, the requested resource, status code and user agent. This data is used for operating, securing and troubleshooting the service.

We use technically necessary cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as the compact navigation setting and the chosen playlist view. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

A paired screen regularly contacts our servers to fetch its assigned playlist, report that it is online (heartbeat) and report which item is currently playing. For this purpose we process the screen identifier, pairing code, playback status and connection timestamps. Player devices are identified by their screen record, not by a personal account.

If you contact us by email or through support, we process the information contained in your message in order to answer your request.

Breitung Signage currently offers free registration and the Basic plan only. No payment data is collected and no payment service provider processes customer payments at this time. If paid plans are introduced, this privacy information will be updated before payments are processed.

Account and organization data is stored for as long as your account exists. After account deletion, data is removed or anonymised unless statutory retention obligations apply.
